Rajas

Rajas is the most vehement of the Gunas. It leads to desire, ambition and weak-mindedness. People who tend to Rajas work hard, but also take life lightly.

Without being insincere or hurting deliberately, they turn to white lies to avoid a bad reputation.

With their keen sense of commerce and the peculiarities of their business partners they are usually successful in business. Although often very intellectual, their weakness lies in their defenselessness towards the seductions of life.

Rajas people can be further classified into seven subtypes

Assora
An egomaniac, sometimes cruel, envious, and inconsiderate tendency. Strength lies particularly in courage.

Raksasa
As above, but rather indolent and with an excessive sleep need.

Paisala
With a tendency to cowardice, Paisala types like to intimidate others. Their habits are often regarded as abnormally by others.

Sarpa
At one time the Sarpa type can react very violently, at another time fall into an extraordinary inertia. Very courageous or very cowardly: both is possible depending on the situation.

Praita
This type is characterised by uncontrolled appetite and greed. These people often act without any distinctiveness.

Sakuna
The same excessive appetite, but inconsiderate, passionate and jerky.
